Collaboration with Wageningen University & Research in a Research Project

We're excited to announce our collaboration in a new research project with Wageningen University & Research exploring the use of 3D Gaussian Splatting for greenhouse environments.

Together with Aryzon.World, NPEC, and the Social Creative Technologies Lab at Wageningen University & Research, the project investigates how immersive, photorealistic 3D environments can improve spatial understanding in complex technical greenhouse systems.

Greenhouses are highly dense environments where layouts, machinery, infrastructure, and workflow can be difficult to communicate remotely using photos or video alone. The research will explore whether interactive 3D environments help users better understand these spaces remotely.

The project is supported through the NWO NGF CIIIC programme.
